Not yet released, iPhone 14 Max faces the possibility of a shortage due to problems with the component supply chain.

According to some analysts, the iPhone line launched this year may be adversely affected by the scarcity of production materials. In particular, the iPhone 14 Max model with a 6.7-inch screen, rumored to first appear in Apple's smartphone portfolio, is behind schedule.

Recent leaked information allege that Apple will introduce 4 new iPhone models in September, including iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. There are 2 large size variants (iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max) instead of just one like the old generation.

The change makes it difficult to supply components. Screen market analyst Ross Young said that the production progress of this component was behind the original plan.

On Twitter, Ross Young revealed that iPhone 14 Max display panel batches are "still behind August". This condition does not affect components of the Pro model. The supply of screens for iPhone 14 Pro Max is 3 times higher than the regular Max version.

According to Gizmodo, the screen of the iPhone 14 Max is not the same type as the high-end version. The Pro series is equipped with ProMotion technology by Apple, the scan frequency can be changed and reaches a maximum of 120 Hz. Thus, it is likely that the iPhone 14 Pro Max uses a 120 Hz screen similar to the iPhone 13 Pro Max, while the iPhone 14 Max only has a 60 Hz screen.

iPhone 14 Max is not delayed completely. Following the leaks over the past few months, it can be seen that Apple faces many obstacles when developing this new version. The company was forced to make some changes to ensure the launch deadline. In addition, the use of a more advanced front-facing camera cluster than the old generation also changed the supply chain.

Despite difficulties, Apple still persisted in its plan to launch 2 large screen versions at the same time and eliminate the mini variant. Gizmodo believes that the reason for this comes from the actual demand of markets outside the US. In China and some other regions, sales of large-screen phones dominate.

In parallel with the production process of iPhone 14, Apple is also actively completing iOS 16, which is expected to be released at the same time in September. On July 11, the company provided the first public beta version. of iOS 16.

Users can register through the Apple Beta Software Program to install and experience iOS 16 on their iPhone. This version brings some notable features such as a new lock screen that allows more customization, improved Focus, Messages, Apple Home. Apple also enhanced security and privacy on iOS 16, making online shopping safer.
